Another really cute top is my magic potion. I cooked up this magic elixir without using the recipe, so be careful  ; )  Grab it in all sorts of colors. It looks great on the purple and the black.

My Etsy Shop Is Open!!

I’ve been working hard on creating affordable DIY printables for wedding, birthdays and other events. I just started uploading them to my store, but of course I started with some of my favorites. The shop currently boasts birthday invitations and bachelorette invites,Check out my favorites in this blog 🙂

Marble_Vert_Bday

Floral Marble Invitation

Starting off with this birthday invitation I created with pink and orange watercolor flowers with a beautiful white marble background. You can customize the name, place, date, rsvp info and more. Check it out here Little Loaf’s Floral Marble Invitation

TiffBlue-Chvrn_Bachelorette

Tiffany Blue Bachelorette Party Invite

That perfect robins egg blue paired with faux gold glitter bubbles give this Tiffany Blue Bachelorette Invite  a fun but luxe look. It’s also available as a light pink, white and black color palette.

Slate_Flwr_Bday_Horiz

Floral Invitation with Slate Background

Ok, last one I promise. This Floral Invite invitation uses a vibrant black, gold and pink color palette that allows the information to really pop. I have always loved a darker background with bright colors for accents.

Let me know if you have any ideas for a custom invitation you’ve been thinking about. I would love to hear your ideas and thoughts.

Happy Friday guys!

Collaboration with Havoc Industries

T-Shirt MockUp_Front

It’s always exciting to collaborate and to create artwork for companies.

It’s the chance to breath life into a brand and watch it flourish. Havoc Industries came to me looking for something with a hard edge that would say to the viewer: badass. I was more than happy to oblige. Generally the logos that I create are a “flat” illustrative style that may have 1-3 colors. Havoc’s logo was a complete departure from this and a breath of fresh air for me.

Havoc Industries is the brain child of two brothers that have a passion for motorsports. They specialize in high quality accessories for off-road enthusiasts. Swing by their facebook page and give them a like Havoc Industries or if you’re interested in what sort of parts they make or want a t-shirt Havoc Industries Website.

It’s Through Mistakes

Paula Scher 476x476-01

“It’s through mistakes that you actually can grow. You have to get bad in order to get good.” – Paula Scher

This Friday’s design quote is from a designer who is the first female principal at the Pentagram design firm as well as an award-winning designer and an educator.

I love this quote because it has meaning in design but also is life. You can’t expect to sit down at a drawing table or a computer for the first time and create an award winning, life changing design, painting, drawing, etc. It takes time, patience, practice and hard work. I started when I was 14, a freshman in high school. Going to a vocational school allowed me to start in the graphic arts field at a younger age. Going back to artwork and designs I created in high school is painful to see but it also brings joy to know how much I have improved since then.

I like to think if you apply this motto through out life and all of the activities through it, you’ll excel at what you do.

Happy Friday Everyone!!
